Not Your Typical Sex Talk*
A hilarious, honest, no-holds-barred approach to sexuality education. We’ll start by covering a variety of sexuality topics including but not limited to Sex, Love, Healthy Relationships, Communication, and Consent and see where the conversation takes us when students start texting in anonymous questions to be answered live during the event. Students will leave educated, informed, and empowered to take charge of their sexuality in safe and appropriate ways. *This program can be customized to include Title IX, or any other related topics.
Sexologist in Residence Program
Dr. Shuey will live on campus (or in a nearby hotel) for the duration of the "residence" and provide unlimited on-campus sexuality programming in both traditional and casual learning environments. This is a flexible educational program that incorporates various interactions with students including but not limited to large presentations, sex advice tabling, office hours, guest lectures, trivia events, discussion/support groups, faculty/staff/student group trainings or anything else we can come up with. This could take place over a long day, for a few days, or for a week or longer allowing us to reach students in ways a one-time lecture might not. With Dr. Shuey on campus we can increase turn out to events by promoting throughout the course of residence and we can re-evaluate programming and make adjustments as needed to co-create unique learning experiences for students to increase knowledge, evaluate attitudes, and examine beliefs to cultivate sexually healthy adults.

These customized primary prevention and awareness programs promote awareness of rape, acquaintance rape, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking through discussions of healthy and appropriate behaviors, safe and positive options for bystander intervention and information about healthy relationships and sexuality.
Sexuality for the Medical Professional
Individuals are sexual beings from birth to death and patients expect medical professionals to discuss sex and sexuality in an appropriate manner yet most medical professionals receive less than 7 hours of sexuality education as part of their professional training regimen. In this session we will discuss sexuality from a holistic perspective, share tips and tricks to help medical professionals discuss sexual concerns, answer and value based sex questions, and take a sensitive sexual history. We will also cover the basics of working with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, relationship structures, and sexual expression.
Go Play with your Toys! Sex Toys and Sexual Health
Sex toys can be a fun and safe way to improve sexual pleasure and satisfaction, provide pre-orgasmic women with orgasm, assist with addressing sexual problems including erectile dysfunction, vaginismis, premature ejaculation and more, and help individuals improve their knowledge of their own body and sexual response patterns. This workshop will cover various types of sex toys, how they can be used to promote sexual health, ways in which using sex toys can provide lower risk sexual options as part of a harm reduction intervention, and what risks should be avoided, including risky sex toy materials. A selection of sex toys and lubrications will be displayed and available for attendees to pass around.
BDSM & Kink for Medical Professionals: Becoming a Kink Aware Professional
It's more than just 50 shades and whips and chains. In this Kink 101 session we will discuss alternative sexual practices and provide professionals and future professionals with a basic overview of what people might do sexually as well as how to discuss sexual concerns with patients in an appropriate and professional manner. We will also cover the difference between consensual BDSM and abuse, reporting requirements and more. Bring an open mind and your *anonymous* sex questions and prepare to have some fun in this sex-positive session.

Talking To Your Kids About S-E-X!
Talking to the children in your life about sex is more than just "The Birds and the Bees". Parents should be talking to their kids about sex from cradle to college. Come learn age appropriate ways to talk to your kids about sex and sexuality throughout the lifespan. Learn how to use "teachable moments", how to answer questions of the curious, and the resources you can use to assist you in your journey. This is an interactive workshop so bring your burning questions! This is also available as an age-appropriate Parent/Child Workshop.
Talking to Your Doctor About S-E-X!
An educated patient is a healthy patient. Most doctors receive less than one week of sex-ed as part of their professional training regimen. Come learn how to be a better advocate for your own personal sexual health. Learn to expect, and what questions to ask your doctor whether you are going in for a regular checkup or whether you have specific concerns about your sexual health. See instruments used in sexual health assessments and learn how they work. Learn to be more involved with your doctor and your overall medical well-being. We will also discuss how to find providers that have specialized training and are comfortable working with sexual, relationship, and gender diversity.
